Helpful to mention
- A survey, site plan or a sketch of the yard with rough dimensions
- Photos of the yard and the back or front of the house from where you'd stand
- Your design, if there is one: planting plan, hardscape layout, materials list
- The views you want: an overhead plan, an eye-level view from the patio, a view from the house
- Plant lists or the look you want, such as native, low-water, shade or cottage style
- Your deadline, and whether the images are for a client, an HOA review or a permit set
